I have a rental company and in the access main Form (bookings) i have along all the other fields the
Check in and Check out dates.
this information is stored in relation with the house.
I can see a list of bookings per house with the dates being used. but what i want to do is to have a graphic calendar to compare all the houses.
What i have done so far is I linked this database to excel and then read the database and pull out the number of nights and display it in the calendar. the problem is it shows when they check in, for how many days and by using the conditional format it highlights that mark, also it does with the check out.
so i have a mark in check in and a mark in the check out date, but i have an empty space in the dates between i have to color it manually.
How can i automate this?
please any suggestions? i would really appreciate all your ideas.
