Access 2007 has right-click drop down filtering for Report View. However that method doesn’t seem to provide for Boolean expressions in the filtering. For example: If I want all records from Leeds AND Portsmouth it doesn’t seem to provide a solution with the drop down filtering options. The best I can do is filter for Leeds in one report and Portsmouth in a second using (Text Filters->Contains…) or (Text Filters->Equals…) etc. on two independent reports.

Is there a way?

Thanks.

They are other filtering options you need to explore. Have a look at the ribbon, Home > Sort & Filter.

Thanks (again) vba. That works.

I wasn't sure if I should continue that first thread with this question. It's best to keep one's displays of ignorance separated as much as possible I suppose.

I'll never get to code anything at this rate.

You did the right thing of creating a new thread. It would help those who are searching for this specific problem.
