Breakpoint stays after reboot

I had a breakpoint set in my code, removed it and tested the program. When the code got to where my breakpoint was, it acted as if it was still there. I closed down the database and started it up again. The same thing happened (several times). I tried clearing out all the breakpoints and even rebooted, still no good.

Has anyone else every had something like this happen?

I would treat this as a standard compact / repair drill to start with.
