Hey guys,
got a little (big) problem.
I have an all done Access Database, which runs only on my comp and works just fine for that.
Now I would like to get it online, so that the forms, reports and all can be accessed from the www. Also I would like to use signin with different passwords and access levels.
Now I don't have much experience with this.
Where shall I start? How is something like this put into effect?
I read about splitting the DB in a Front and Backend DB, distributing the FrontDB to the ppl. Can I use logins with pw here?
And since this would have the backdraw that the users would need the frontenddb, can I switch to something else? If yes, what? mySQL and PHP? Or just the access db with ASP page access?
Can someone pls give me some advice to get me started?
