I've read it twice and I still don't understand what you mean. Can you elaborate.

Hi vbaInet,

in form design tools in design tab there are buttons in tools add existing fields, property sheet, tab order and 3 smaller buttons subform in new window, view code, convert forms macros to visual basic

its the add existing fields and property sheet button there that are not working, even alt enter does not work to open property sheet

i have looked on the net and just tried this

ctrl G to get immediate window

and enter this

CommandBars("Property Sheet").Enabled = True

but this didn't work

hope you can understand what i mean

Hi,

not to worry i got them working

Access Options.
Click Current Database.
Clear the check boxes "Enable Layout View" and "Enable design changes for tables in Datasheet View".
Click OK.

now working!!!!

i rechecked the two above that i just unchecked

and it still works

i guess it must of just glitched on me

It's not working or it's not present? Can you show a screenshot.

Might have been the case or you just needed to restart Access.

i did restart it and i tried a new database too, still wasn't working

i even reinstalled office too

that was a weird one and this was me :banghead: , lol
