Dear

i have a table with columns as
1- Name
2-Marks in Subject 1
3-Marks in Subject 2
4-Marks in Subject 3

i want to create more columns in same table as
5-Total Obtained Marks
6-Maximum Marks
7-%age of Obtained Marks

how can i do it in one table

pls give me solution if it can possible

thanks

Your data structure is heading in the wrong direction entirely.

The table with the marks should have three fields, StudentID, SubjectID and Mark.

Don't store the calculated fields. Better they are calculated as required in a query.

Dear galaxiom

as u say i create a table but how can i calculate field in query .

can i set field of table as query result
or link with query

To get the (5-Total Obtained Marks) for each student, use a aggregate query.
To enable this, Right click on the design grid and enable Totals.

Select "Group By" on the StudentID and "Sum" on the Marks field. Do not include the Subjects field.

It is not clear what you mean by these:
6-Maximum Marks
7-%age of Obtained Marks

As I said before, the calculated values should not be saved in a table.
