I am trying to make a form that I can access from my main form then which will have a qty box then when i fill in the qty and click update it will amend the qty box on the main form
Is this possible? If so how do I go about it?

yes its possible, but y not just change the qty on the main form?

yeah i suppose. one more thing I have demand information and a tick box for on demand is there anyway that I can make it so that if the demand qty is 0 the box is unchecked and visa versa if there is a qty in it it is checked?

sure in the afterupdate of the demand qty box put
if me.demandqtyboxname >0 then
me.checkboxname=true
else
me.checkboxname= false
end if

change the names accordingly
