Ok, I know I'm going to sound retarded here, but with all this I'm doing for a search function I can't seem to figure out something I know is just simple as hell. It's killing me. Anyway I need to take a value that is entered in one text box, and add it to one that was entered in another text box, and have it fill in a specified text box automatically. I know this is an easy thing to do, but for some reason I just can't figure out how to do it. Thanks.

Afterupdate or at the click of a button

3 text boxes
2 of which you enter txtOne and txtTwo
to produce txtThree

Me.txtThree = Me.txtOne.Value & Me.txtTwo.Value

Well Jon thanks for the quick response. Now I am curious as to which txtbox's After update do I put it on. So far it doesn't do anything at all. I have what you said in the after update in textbox1. Thanks again.
