I have just converted and compiled a major application from Ac 97 to Ac 2K. It has been installed on a network with linked tables on the network drive and front ends on individual computers.
Users are getting 2 errors: Linked table manager won't open and many reports etc have "Unknown function message". The app works fine on my stand alone computer I use for writing the programs. When I preset the backend links on my computer and then copy to the network the links seem to work altho the manager isn't.
Checking for references, my computer shows Calendar 9.0 while the other computers show Calendar 8.0. I have no explicit calls to the calendar control anywhere. Three questions:
1) Is this the cause of the problems?
2) How do I make them compatible or install the same version on the computers?
3) How do I re-install or correct the linked table manager problem if I need to refresh the links.
