Calendar Functionality

I am currently trying to make a room booking system using calendar control in Access. I need to be able to stop double bookings occuring and also fill in a number of fields based on a date range entry, e.g. room 1 is booked for exams all week by Mr Smith etc.

Does anyone have any examples or links that I can take a look at ?

Or, does anyone know whether I can integrate my access database with MSoutlook to use it's calendar functionality ?

This seems to be a very common problem and one I am struggling with too.

I have been working on a booking system for my company for a few months now and am able to show rooms that are booked for a certain time period but the problems come when I try and show rooms that aren't booked.

As for the calendar you can use an activeX calendar control on form.
