Hi access gods,

I need to know if there is a camera interface to access. So that I can grab a picture and store it in access(or the file name in access).

I would I need a button in access, that takes a picture and either saves it to a file, or saves it in an access db (as a blob??)

Does this make sense, anyone hear of how to do it?

What sort of camera if you a referring to? If it's a photographical camera then I'd suggest enquiring with its manufacturers.

If you mean screen grabs, however, then you'd need to use some API coding.

As for blobs, I know I've heard the term somewhere before, but unless they are OLE objects, Access won't store them, although you can save space in your database by storing the link to the picture, rather than the picture itself.
