camera to read barcode?

Hello

I'm using a fussion5 win10 tablet. I'd like to scan a barcode then look that number up in the data base.

So i just have an input box in a form that I'd like filled with the scanned barcode.

Is this even possible?

It probably depends on Fusion5, but generally speaking I have seen this done with Android phones, iPad's and other devices. The camera reader will probably give you less accuracy the a barcode scanner.
