Hi,
I have been using access 2000 for a while now, set up a few databases for companies i have worked for, although they were very simple.

I was wondering...

I work for an architectural firm, we enter new jobs into a table which records clients name, address, telephone, fax, moby. etc. Standard data input. Our surveyor in the firm uses a PDA, which has satilite navigation on it, which works through Outlook 2000. He links his pda outlook to his desktop pc in the office which syncs with his outlook there. He would like for any new job created in our access database to automically updated his outlook contact list.

Is this possible????

I apologise for my lack of understanding of access.. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks - Keith :)

Keith,

You can export outlook folders to Access and once you've made your Dbase
thru this export, you'll be able to import the Dbase into outlook again.
So if changes e.g. new contact added, are made you're able to import/export all this data. Just look at the export/import possibilities in outlook.

thanx

thanx for the speedy reply,

Yeah ive tried importing from access to outlook via the import function in oulook itself before, yeah works great it imports the client table in outlook. But, it requires to be done everytime somethink is added or our surveyor goes out. Is there anyway this can be done automatically, for example when the client information is added in the database by a form, there could be a button which would then update the outlook information with the data just entered. Then when you open outlook, the contact list is updated automatically.

Sorry for the miss understanding.
Thanks again, hehehe
Keith
