I am new at this so please bare with me. I have VS 200 and Office 2007. All I want to do for now is to connect to the access database and run a select on it. I have searched on the web how to this and have found that I can create the connection either through VS by clicking on data > create data source (which I cant get to work) or by using the data source administrator in admin tools which I got to work. My question is now how do I go about connecting to the database to run the select. I have searched the web for this answer but haven’t been able to find it. I would prefer to figure it out myself so I will remember so if anyone can point me in the direction of a good tutorial I would really appreciate it.
