If I have a field, that has the value of; Green, Yellow, or Red. Can I change the font color when displaying it, to the matching color?

And

Can I do this in a list box?

Or
Do I need to do it in a Sub form?

Thanks

You can do this by changing the Fore Color property of the control.

Things to consider though. For a list box its only one color. (No multicolor stuff)

For sub forms using Datasheetview or multiple records view if you don't have Access 2000 your out of luck. Microsoft added the conditional formating only in A2K. Otherwise each time you change the color all of your records will be that color.

True, you can't do conditional formatting in A97 in a datasheet form, but you can do something similar (and in some respects better!) in a continuous form, even in A97.

You can also make a continuous form look very much like a datasheet, but the disadvantage is that the columns will not be resizeable.

If you would like a demo of A97 Pseudo-conditional Formatting, please email me and I'll send it by reply.
