can i take fields from another db?

So.. We have one db which is the companys db in mde format
The thing is that i want to take the current record, or the last one from the
input form of the companys db and store it in one mine db.
Can this be done?

probably i didnt make my self clear...
You see there is one form that we input "returns" of newspapers. The form that we input those has 2 combo boxes and one textbox.
I want to "steal" a record.. for the propose of giving the record on more field yes/no type.
Then one way i though is to have a form on my db with a command that copy the curent record in a table of me.
How i cant speak good english

You want to steal records from one database and paste to a different database? If so, you need to make an append query. Be sure your database has same fields as a different database.
