Can't delete record with #name

I have a table with around 300 records and the last record has a #NAME in the date field. When I first try to open the table I get a error message that says "The function you entered can't be used in this expression". I hit OK and it opens the table. All of my information is in the table (and I can add new records) but the last record has #NAME in the date field. When I try to delete the record, I get the error message "Function is not available in expression in table-level validation expression".

I opened the same database on another computer and everything worked fine.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks for the reply...

Sounds like a corrupted record. Try compact and repair. If that doesn't work, create a query that copies all records except the bad one and appends them to a new copy of the table.

I tried the repair and compact several times, but it didn't work. I finally found the answer to the problem (I found another thread on this website that directed me to http://members.rogers.com/douglas.j.steele/AccessReferenceErrors.html.

Thanks again for your reply...
