Can't open database!!

I can't open my database...
It was open yesterday and after a power failure computer turned off...
2day I can't open it...
Messege box says something like ---database was open--- not properly closed--- etc. etc. and can't perform auto repair...

I tried to import the objects in other database but can't do that as well...


Is there any way to repair the database???

In fact i have developed the database for my friends shop...
I can't post it today... I will ask him to send it to me...
It may take couple of days...

I live in a rural area (oh that's where I got my name, duuh) where power is not particularly reliable. I've had UPS's on all of my computers for years. Others in town have not learned their value yet.

Any chance the .ldb file still exists? If so then just delete it. Access will create it again.

Search for the MS Jet Compact Utility. It should resolve your problem.
