Hi

I have which I use for quote rows. It is set to datasheet view.

In the Form Footer I have a txtbox with a sum oin the control source. this works ok, but when I view the form I cannot see the form footer. Thsi is also in the quote as a sub form so I need to see the total field.
If I change the view to single form it appears.

Could someone advise how I can see it ind datasheet view.

Thanks

You can't se the the form header/footer in Datasheet view. It's just the way it is. However you can display the total from the subform on the main form. This is done on the Order form in the Northwind DB supplied as a sample DB when you install Access.

Hi Rabbie

I cannot find the form you mean, I am using 2010

Thanks

you could change to continuous view, instead of datasheet - then you get the header and footer.

Hi Dave

That works, but I did the form using a wizard and it show the rows in blocks and alternative colours..... do you know how to get the wizard format off without me having to do the form again. I am using 2010

Thanks for the replies

You "get the wizard format off" by going into Form Design View and going to the form's Properties - Format and changing the Default View Property to Continuous.
