I have a 2003 Database that tracks Employee data and the Primary Key in the Employee Table is SSN. On occassion i need to correct someones SSN and because it is a Primary Key this can only be done by turning on the Cascade Update feature. However I do not what to leave this turned on. So is it possible to create a macro and tie it to a commant button on a form that would allow the Cascade Update to be turned on, edit the SSN field and then turn the Cascade Update off.
I have several tables that are related to the Employee table and this would be time consuming to do this manually.,

Thanks for any help on this:)

so what you're wanting to do is avoid having to update multiple tables in access that have the same data in them right? by using the cascading edits/deletes, etc..??
