Is it possible to have the contents of a form center themselves when the form is maximised?

At the moment if I hit maximise, the form background just extends down and to the right (see attatched picture)

What i'd like is for everything to stay in the center of the screen.. is it possbile?

Not quite literally.

But you could simulate the effect by doing this:

Create a blank form, and have it open maximized. For your original form, disable title bar, control box and make border "None" and set property "Auto Center" to Yes.

This way, when the blank form maximizes, you have the appearance of your original form still being centered on the screen.

Now, this required you to disable control box, so you need to tie the blank form's title bar and control box to the original form so if user click "X" on the blank form, the original form should likewise close and click "Restore" would hide the blank form and enable the title bar of the original form and recreate the border as well.

HTH.

ok, that sounds good, thanks for that
