Hello and Happy New Year,

Is it possible to have a label or text box dynamically change based on grouping in an Access report?

For example, I have a report that is created based on date range selected by the end user on a separate form. The report data is grouped by week, so if two weeks are selected, there will be two rows of data, three weeks selected, then three rows of data, etc. If possible, I'd like to add a label to each row, such as "Week 1", "Week 2", etc., depending on how many weeks are displayed. I would think this would be fairly easy, but I can't figure it out. :banghead: Any help would be appreciated greatly, thanks.

Put a text box on the report in the group header and set its control source to

=1

Then set its Running Sun property to Over All and set its Visible property to NO.

Then put another text box on the Group header and format it to look like a label and its Control Source to

="Week " & [RunningSumTextBoxNameHere]

Thanks so much Bob, it worked like a charm. :)
