change default date

Formheader: Tekst17 (date
Details: Datum

Datum has as default date the date from Tekst17.
But when I change Tekst17, the default date of Datum doesen't change.

Who can help me?

Defaults are static unless code is used to change them and also defaults are only good for new records. They have no use for existing records.

Me.Tekst17.DefaultValue = Me.Tekst17
