Hi -

Is there a way to change a table name so that it automatically changes throughout the database - so that I don't have to change every query and form that is related to that table??

Thank you.

No, though I've heard Access 2003 supposedly has some way of assisting you to do this.

Just out of interest: why would you want to?

If you've built the database all fine and dandy then the enduser shouldn't be aware of your table's name or, even, have access to or view of it.

Hey! That's cool. I remember running up against this problem in Access 97 and I just gave up hope on it.

Thank you!

Thanks for website Pat.

And Mile-O-Phile the reason I want to change table name is because I'm inexperienced at designing databases, so it's always a work-in-progress as I keep needing/getting more info and then realize better ways to structure the database (hopefully better!). And then I realize I need more appropriate names so that I can keep track of what I'm doing (never mind the user at this point). Hopefully, one day it will be somewhat fine and dandy.:)
