Well, I got asked to do this with a datasheet view today, and I found after searching the forum that I'm not sure how to do it, and no one else seems to have done this either.

Basically I need to flag a row in a datasheet subform dependant on if a date field is more than 1 month ago and if the status field is set to pending. I looked at conditional formatting, but that only seems to let me set a condition on a single field at a time.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Condition Formatting

Hi in Access datasheets this is the same as Excel

In design view for the datasheet (subform or main one) select the field you want to change colour (to change the whole record you'l have to repeat it for each field) then go to Format menu then condition formating.

Then you can refer to your field and put in the criteria you want to change the colour.

I hope this helps?

Matt

Ah yes, that did it :) I didn't spot that I could change the comparison from selected field to a standard expression.

Cheers ;)

Hmm... well, it wasn't quite as solved as I thought. Got the conditional formats working, but can't figure out how to save it once its set up :(

Any ideas? :
Thanks in advance for help :)

Ah, got it working in the end. Used the MSDN help on setting conditions in code.

Cheers anyway ;)
