Hi there, i am new here and just would like to ask a question or two. I have a list box filled from a query. I would like to have this query change the color of one or some cells in the display
Rec ID Time Due
===== =======
9 |09:30am >>> no change
3 |10:00am >>> no change
1 |09:00am <<< would like this and any elements to be of different color if the system time greater than time of the element "9:00am" (I don't want the whole row to change, just the cell "time due").

the other question is; how do you have the list box continue to update with the time and still have access to select a record in it?

Thanks for all and any help!

You might try a search on Conditional format. Guess that's what you're looking for .

The list box that comes with Access cannot be referenced in cellular fashion, therefore it is not possible to do cell specific exercises. Other ActiveX/OCX component listboxes do provide this functionality, but like everything they come at a cost.
