Characters missing from labels in my reports (1 Viewer)

can any help me with this
when i run my monthly reports in access
97 the reports preview fine but when i go to
print them there are characters missing
from the labels on my reports,
this seems strange as the report detail
prints ok.
i have had the printer checked out and it is fine.
printing from other applications are also ok

When you say characters missing, do you mean from the end of the label text (or the beginning if it is right-justified)?

sometimes,in spite of all promises to be WYSIWYG, the printed reports don't quite match the screen preview.

If it is the above, it can be overcome by simply increasing the width of the label.
