Hi,

I have a chart in a form which gets its data from a cross-tab query. The chart was working fine and still is besides the fact the it is skipping the first row of data, or reading/treating it as a header. I had this problem before and the only way i could get around it was to re-create the charts. As there are many charts i want to avoid doing this again and find out why this is happening to prevent it happening again.

The data as viewed via the Chart is attached

Any ideas?
Thanks

I would create a new chart which looks okay, and then compare it to which looks wrong.
Or post a stripped version of your database with some sample data.

Hi JHB,
thanks for responding again. I am trying to avoid re-creating the graphs as there are many and they require a lot of formatting.

I have uploaded an example database with my problem. If you open fr_1 and select the info from the combo boxes then the chart will draw. However, the sites on the x axis should start at 1 and not at 2, for some reason access is treating this as a header row in the data and i am not sure why?

Appreciate any help

After a really long time I found the problem, it is just before our nose! :D :D
Set the graph's property "Column Heads" to Yes.

Hi JHB,

Thanks so much, i have also spent ages looking for a solution with no success yet. Something so simple in the end!

Thanks, much appreciated :)
