Chart Query

I'm currently using MS Access 2000 - When using the chart wizard is there any way of sorting the data by month ? At present I'm getting all my data on one chart but I want to spilt this into seperate months. (ie; 1 chart for July, 1 chart for Aug etc) I know there is the option for choosing 'between dates' but I don't want to have to do a fresh chart every time

Charts can be a bit of a problem.

My recommendation is always to manipulate the data with queries until you have all the data you want to chart contained in the results of a final query. In your case you will have a data field as well I suspect.

You can use the Between function quite successfully to create a chart for different time periods. These will all use the same chart as the base.

If you want truly separate charts then you will need a query for each period where the criteria in the query determines which records will be used.

Then of course you will need another set for next year add infinitum.
