Charts in reports

I am trying to add a chart to a report and am having a problem. I know (I thought) how to add a chart. When I get to the preview section of the setup my chart looks find. But when I finish it the chart is all wrong and has the wrong data??? Anyyone know what might be going on?

I have run into this same 'challange' several times, and here is how I worked around it.

When you are in the Design View of your report, right click on the chart and select properties. Go to the Data tab and use this window to verify your data source. As far as getting the formatting to 'look' the way you would like, I used the trial-and-error method. Make a change in MS Graph, then check it out on the report, and repeat until you get what you want.
