Check boxes on report

I have a report based on a table that has a Yes/No field associated with it. On the report I want to have this field represented by a check box, which is easy enough, but I also want a second box to display the opposite value, since the report must have "Affects? Yes () No()" I can't find the code to get the second, unbound check box to work correctly.

=IIf(FieldName = True, False, True)

The unbound boxes just stay gray and don't change, even if I switch the wording of the IIf statement

I'd double check your field name; I just tested a checkbox with that as a control source, and it showed the opposite of the bound checkbox, as expected.

Well, I was about to make another stumped post, but then I realized that I had somehow switched the bound and unbound check boxes while I was checking after your last post! It's working great now, thanks!
