Hello, I am trying to mimic a government report in access. The checkboxes have a border color of red.

When I change the Border Color to red ('255') in the group control checkbox properties the border continues to be displayed as black.

Can the checkbox border color be changed?

Thanks for your help,
Bill

Access checkboxes do not have color. Put a "box" under the checkbox ands change its color as appropriate.

Set the color, as appropriate, on the report section's "OnFormat" event.

The checkbox will always be on top of the box if you set it that way.

i found this today - while trying to do something similar.

if you set the checkbox, to SHADOWED, you can show the shadow colour. it's the only thing I have been able to achieve.

Boy, what service!
The original question was posted in 2006.
I used IIkhoux's solution to the original post.
But, this new approach will work on a new project I have.

Thanks,
Bill
