Hi,

I am developing a form that will have 10+ checkboxes to track completion of some tasks. The tasks should be completed in order (1-10).

I am trying to find an easy way to check that the tasks/check boxes are completed in the correct order (1,2,3,4,5 etc) and then produce a message if someone ticks a box out of order. Cant seem to come up with a simple way of checking.

Any design tips/ideas would be gratefully received.

cheers

Disable all checkboxes and programatically enable them one-by-one when a step is completed. Call your check boxes, chkTaskl1, chkTask2 ... etc.

Or, if this is a Single View Form, take vbaInet's idea one step further; make all of the Controls (except the first one) invisible and only make the next one visible when the previous task is completed.

Thank you both for your replies... works perfectly!!

Just didn't think of enable/visable option.

cheers for your help
