Checkboxes

I have a form with multiple checkboxes. The user clicks the box for the type of report to run. The issue is that when the user clicks a box they have to click the mouse to the next record so the checkbox actually writes to the table. Is there a way to change this setting?

You can save the current record with:
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
or
If Me.Dirty Then Me.Dirty = False
