Chr$ changes when exporting report

I have a report that uses Chr$(183) - the bullet point symbol - to separate certain parts of text. When this report is exported to a text (.txt) file the value of this character changes to Chr$(250) which is the character "ú".

Does anyone know of any solutions to this problem?
