Clear combo box

I am using an unbound form with 2 combo boxes for query criteria. I would like the boxes to be clear for the next use, but I can't find the right event to trigger that. They either clear to early and the query doesn't run or they won't clear at all.

Typically in the close event of the form or report that uses the query. If you're opening the query itself, most of us would not do that. You have little control in that situation. My users only see forms and reports.

I have a button on the search form that opens a report based on the criteria
