is there any simple way that i can have a clock on my forms that changes time without having to go off the form and then back onto it.


any help would be much appriciated

Yes...but why would you want to? The form's Timer wastes system time and most computer s have the time displayed n the bottom right anyway.
 
Mile is correct. But, I know how it can be fun to do certain things that maybe are not that efficient.

So, that being said, here's how you do it.

In the Form's properties, there are a couple of properties around timer. One is timer interval. Set it at 1000 (which is 1000 milliseconds or 1 second).

Next, in the property just above it (On Timer) select Event Procedure and then select the ellipsis (...) and then type in the following code in the form's "On Timer" event:

me.txtYourTextBoxName = Time

And that'll do it for you.
