Question codes failure in the backup database version

When I save a database to create a backup version, the codes, which I've already created in the original version of the database, fail to work.

Are you saying that the VBA fails in the backup but runs in the original?

When you say "fail" - are we talking some sort of numbered Access Error code (and if so, which one) or are we talking "fail by giving wrong answer" to something?

More specific description, please.

Can you give us an example of what is failing?
What works? What doesn't work?

I presume your code is looking for the database name, and not working because you now have a different name - or maybe it's in a different folder.

Just try renaming it to the original, and see if it works - in which case, it's probably fine.
