Hi
I'm new with access. I try to make a report from a request. In the request I have these fields: Salesrep, customer, glcode, amount, periode (periode 79 to 90=2004, periode 92 to 103=2005, periode 105-111=2006). I sort my reoprt by salesrep, customer and sum of glcode. Now I'm able to make it for one year. What I want to do is like the attach file( I do it by msword). I need the three columns even if the customer didn't buy one years. I hope it's clear enough.

thank you in advance

Hey Bob!
Do you have a lot of customers and a lot of glcodes?
The thing is, the complexity of the report will really be
affected by the number of variables involved.
Also, where is the data coming from? Is this going to be loaded
by hand in tables or imported from somewhere else?

Thank you for the answer
I have a lot of customers more that a thousand and from 1 to 9 glcodes by customer. The data come from tables in oracle database. (i have tried to use oracle report to make my report but it didn't work as I want) I have imported four tables in access. From these tables I have made a request sorting only periods I need and plan (offices that we have outside of our headquarter) I want. I make my report from that request.

Well, that's what I figured. Nothing's ever simple
Okay then. If you can post a simplified version of the db I can
probably get you a report pretty close to what you want.
Basically, I'd need a copy of each table with some dummy data
in each so I can get a feel of it and see what other questions I might have.

Thank you
But for now I'm just living in vacation until july 3trd, If you want to wait for me I'll appreciate.

Vacation! Now that sounds nice.
I've got a week scheduled later in July.
Send me a PM when you're ready to move ahead with this
and we'll get it taken care of.

Have a good time:)

Sorry
I forgot to come back and tell you that my manager told me to stop the report.

I'm going to make new reports because I change my database from oracle to sybase. I'm sure that I will have a lot of questions.

Thank you for help.
