Combo box filter reset or all option?

Hello all. I am a new member on this forum, working on my first Access project using Access XP and 2003.

My problem: I have a form sourcing records from a table of "items." In that form you can search for items by item number in a combo box. And you can filter the list of item numbers by choosing from a list of categories in another combo box. But once you choose a category, you are stuck always filtering items by some category. How can I add an "all" option or reset the category box to nothing? Thanks.

You weren't real clear on how you were displaying the filtered records (same form, subform, query view, etc.) but all it you would do is reset the RecordSource control or the Filter property to "" (empty string) and the requery/refresh the form/query.
