combo box, forms and sub forms problems!!

Hope someone can help me. I am developing (well, trying to!!) an invoicing system, with 3 tables of customer name/address, invoice number/date and invoice details. I want to use a combo box to retreive customer's name/address to be put in a new invoice form without picking up it's previous invoices details in the subform. I've tried using Data Entry yes in the properties but this makes the subform not allow entries.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'll do my best!!

I have a main form with a combo box of customers when i click on a customer's name i want it to display a new invoice number(autonumbered) and date and a further sub form listing new details. I can get the combo box to work picking up customer details etc but it brings up previous records which i don't want to see, i want a blank subform to input a new invoice. I've tried using fiddling out with the properties of the subform like data entry etc. but it leaves me unable to enter any information.

Hope i've explained it a little better.
