Combo box help plz

I know it seems as though I'm trying to go against you Colin, but everything you're saying is really good, my only problem is doing it.
I think if we look back to my original problem it's clear that I'm a bit of a novice!
I don't really understand the whole Criteria stuff in a query. Is there nothing simple I can add to the OnClick event of my button to make it show the report for the IDNo's record?!

1) you're not going against me - its up to you what you do, I'm advising you on one straightforward way of doing something which I know will work, and is a recognised way of doing it.

2) You must learn about queries and using criteria.
We were all novices once and doing a little practice query etc is the way to learn. The advanced stuff can come later. If you are unsure how to do it (queries and criteria) Access help talks you through it. We are all here to help no matter how simple or stupid the question may be.

3) There's no point in getting into VB when you have a problem with the basics.

4) Have you got the relationships right between the tables?

I have only one table with all the data in it. Therefore I have not set any relationships! :S
