Combo Box Look Up

Hi All

I have created a form and numerous subforms ran from queries.

Basically In the Form Header I have Employee ID, Surname & Christian Name. In the details part I have created subforms in tab controls.

Rather than using my Navigation Buttons to go to each employee, is it possible for my Christian Name Text Box to be a combo box of all employees and once I drop down to view and choose an employee, it then to go to that record and display their details?

I'd appreciate anybody's advice on this.

Hi Sharon

If your form is bound to the employees table, you can add a ComboBox in the header. Do it via the wizard and select the 3rd option (Display a record based on the selection) then you should be ok.

Long time no speak. Good to hear from you.

My form is bound to a query, however it has still worked using the wizard.
