Combo Box Restriction

I have various Combo Boxes linked to Lookup Tables, but I want to stop the user from being able to input their own answer.

In other words if the drop down only has four options then the user can only use of the four options.

Just seen the 'Limit to list' option. Which is what I'm looking for.

But going on from there is there any code that Icould input that will enable me to tailor make the error message?

isnt there a "not in list" event you can use?

if this doesnt work, you would probably have to use the forms error event
