combo box showing same bgcolor as form

I know this is a small problem but is bugging the hell out of me.

Everytime my combo box has a value selected and it doe snot have focus the bgcolor for the box becomes transperent, or at least matches the bgcolor of the form.

How do I make this stop

This is a well documented bug in Access 2007 post-instalation of the SP2 service pack!

Allen Browne's suggested workaround is to set the AlternateBackColor property of the the Form Section (usually Detail Section) the Combobox resides in to something other than "No Color", such as #80000027.
