I am creating a DB for a work permit scheme, in the form header the user will add the Contractors name and his companies details.

All our suppliers are stored on a separate table. Currently a Combo Box allows the user to search for the company name but I would then like it to populate with all their address details etc once selected, but all it does is store the Company Name.

Any ideas?

There are times when copying data and storing it in a second location is a good idea but most often you should just store a value in the second table that points back to the data record in the first table. This is called a relationship between the two tables and prevents you from storing duplicate data over and over again. I'm thinking thats what you need to do...
