Combo Entry

I have a combo box in order to allow me to search a form (linked to a table)for an SM Number. I would like to be able to add new records with unique SM numbers on the form, however the combo limits the input of SM Numbers to the ones already used.

How do i get round this?

The Combo box is there to spot the end-use form entering new SMnumbers. If you are updating the program look for a older frm that has a txtbox for in put. elsa you will have to make a new frm with all the field take are in the table that is used to creat the list in the combobox and the new SMnumber will be a text field. then do a .ADDNEW to the table. You will also have to make sure that the SMNumber is put in to all table that are linked to the first table
