ComboBox Wizard

I`ve read in som threads that there shoul be 3 different options in the combobox wizard, I talking about the options in the "How do you want the combo box to get it`s values" but I only have 2 options, 1."I want the combo box to look up the values in a table or a query" and 2. "I will type in the values that i want". the last option I`ve seen mentioned is just what I need. I`m running access 2000 What can I do?

"Find a record on a form based on the value I select in my combo box"

Are you dragging the combo off the toolbox?

If the form does not have an underlying record source, it will NOT give you the third option to Find a record(as you mentioned). Once you select the record source for the form, the combo box wizard will provide the 3rd option because now has something to search through.
