Hey there im having trouble with my graph that when i run my report with my graph on the graph does not update to the data in the query. i would like to put a comman button in to update the graph to see if that works please help i have no idea how to do this.
cheers rob
p.s i am using access97

on the click of the of the command button:

yourGraph.Requery

i right click on the button go to properties and there is no " on click" all the data and events tabs are blank im confussed?

Sorry, I missed the fact that this was a report.

Controls don't have events on reports.

can i create a button that will make it go from one record to the next and requery on every click? i relaise access has its own built in buttons but i want to use my own please help

You have to save new records before the report will reflect the changes
DoCmd. RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord

that doesnt make any sense? i am getting todays data but if i run the report 5 times sometimes say all the records will be correct and then the next 4 times they will be wrong or using the record from the previous. Its just not queying the query correctly i think i just dont know how to get around it?

Create a tiny pop-up form that contains just a command button, which opens at the same time as your report. Put the required code on the click event of the button. Make it of dialog type to prevent it being closed while the report is open, but put a close command for the form on the close event of the report.
