Compact and Repair

Hello everyone,

I have split my database, database_fe and database_be, and was wondering if, with one or both files, do I need to compact and repair upon shutting down for the day?

No,

FE and BE would be compacted separately as and when required. Recommend doing it on a regular basis (weekly/monthly) or after 'major surgery' or if your db is approaching the 2mb limit (in which case it is probaly time to split the BE into 2)
